Wash all your produce well. There’s no need to peel the apples, carrots or ginger unless you want to. Just give them a good scrub! Peel the orange and lemons.
Roughly chop the apples, carrots, lemon, ginger, and orange. You don’t need perfect slices, just chunks small enough for your blender to handle.
Add everything to a high-speed blender along with 1 cup of water. Start on low, then increase to high until everything is completely blended into a thick pulp. This usually takes 30-40 seconds.
Set a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag over a large measuring jug or bowl. Carefully pour the pulpy mixture in and let it slowly strain. Use the back of a spoon to press out as much juice as you can. (This part takes a little patience but is worth it!)
Once strained, pour the juice into clean jars or bottles. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Give each shot a quick shake before drinking as some settling is natural.
