Why We Chose Tissues Instead of White Tissue Paper

At first, I tried using white tissue paper for these ghosts, but it was too stiff. I wanted them light and floaty, so I switched to a box of tissues and loved how they looked.

Another option is to use coffee filters, but they aren’t very common here in New Zealand.

How to Make Ghost Lollipops

Step 1: Wrap the lollipop

Start by overlapping two tissues and placing a lollipop on top. Wrap the tissues around the lollipop.

Step 2: Tie on the tissues

Wrap the twine string or ribbon around the lollipop’s stick and knot once.

Step 3: Print and cut out the ghost tags

Print the ghost tags onto cardstock, then cut them out. Punch a hole in the top and tie it onto the lollipop. Tie a bow to hold it in place. Trim the string if you need to.

Step 4: Draw on ghost eyes

Lastly, draw on the ghost eyes with a black marker and enjoy!
